Man dubbed Zimbabwe's most-wanted fugitive arrested in Limpopo

CAPE TOWN - The man dubbed as Zimbabwe's most-wanted fugitive has been arrested in Limpopo.
Thirty-two-year-old Lovemore Musoyi was arrested by the Sekhukhune South African Police Service (SAPS) Task Team and the Operation Vala Umgodi multi-disciplinary team on Friday.
Musoyi is facing more than 10 criminal charges, including murder, attempted murder, business robberies, kidnapping and stock theft.
He has been on the run since 2023, after escaping from a police vehicle while being transported to a prison in Motetema, Mpumalanga.
Police have described the 32-year-old as the most evasive fugitive, after escaping from custody and disarming and attacking two officers.
The suspect was arrested on possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
