Peter de Villiers has officially been welcomed to the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party by its deputy president, John Hlophe.

De Villiers was formally a member of Patricia De Lille’s GOOD Party but was kicked out in March 2024 after a member filed a sexual misconduct allegation against him.
