Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyabonga Zulu dies in car crash

Tragedy struck the local football world over the weekend when Siyabonga Zulu passed away.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates defender reportedly died on Sunday (16 February).
The Citizen reports the incident happened in Mpumalanga where Zulu was playing with his current team Phezulu FC.
He was said to be in the car with teammate Nhlanhla Masina, who also died in the crash.
Tributes for Zulu are pouring in.
I just Learnt Siyabonga Zulu has passed. This is so sad man. He was a towering defender. Luck eluded him in football. That costly mistake in Mauritania cost him his career.
