Uber to probe Anele Mdoda's alleged harassment by driver

JOHANNESBURG - Multinational transport company Uber says it's investigating a reported incident of harassment involving one of its drivers and media personality Anele Mdoda.
The TV and radio presenter posted video footage on social media platform X detailing how she was threatened by the driver during a ride in Cape Town.
On her account, Mdoda also posted that she reported the incident to the police.
"Say it again, say he threatened me the whole way. I am recording him on purpose."
Meanwhile, the company says if the driver is found to be in breach of their community guidelines, his access to the platform will be terminated.
