EB Inglis shares some words of wisdom after celebrating five years at Kfm 94.5...

As EB celebrates five years at Kfm 94.5, he reflects on the biggest lesson his learnt during his 22 years in radio.

Five years at Kfm 94.5.

On 24 February 2020, EB's voice came alive on the airwaves at Kfm 94.5.

It's not a blue Monday for EB Inglis because there are tons to celebrate. 

Reflecting on his time on-air at Kfm 94.5, EB says the most memorable lesson so far has been: 

You can never be everything to everyone.

"It's impossible to please everyone, so you might as well, instead of wasting time trying to please people and mental and physical and emotional space and all that -- you might as well just be your true authentic self unapologetically."

EB says it's a lesson that rings true for him as we speak. 

"There's something about this fifth-year anniversary where it just got me to contemplate certain things, and I just hope it can be some sort of motivation for you as well," EB says.

"If you're a chronic people-pleaser like me, stop doing that... you're only doing yourself a disservice because no matter how many times you bend over backwards for people and you want to do your best... sometimes, it's not even appreciated, so it's best for you to just be yourself and people are going to talk regardless so you might as well live your best life, as long as you're not hurting anyone else and your intentions are pure, then you're going to be fine," explains EB.

In one sentence, EB's career and life lesson is to stop caring what people think and just do YOU. This is a lesson for those venturing into new opportunities or just wanting to take the leap into something new.
