SA Weather Service warns of thundershowers in parts of Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service warns Gauteng residents of possible showers and thundershowers expected to continue on Friday.

On Wednesday, the service issued a yellow Level 1 warning over most parts of the province. 

Forecaster Edward Engelbrecht says temperatures will remain on the cooler side.

“We only have a 30% chance of showers and thundershowers, mostly for the afternoon although there is going to be some light thunderstorms early morning and temperatures we’re expecting a minimum of between 14 and a maximum only into the low 20s.”
