Smith and her co-accused, Jacquen Appollis and Stevano van Rhyn, are on trial for Joshlin's disappearance.
Smith's lawyer, Rinesh Sivnarain, told the court Smith denies selling Joshlin to a sangoma for R20,000.
Sivnarain said that Smith also denies offering her co-accused, Appollis and Van Rhyn, money to keep quiet.
He told the court Smith will also deny everything about former accused-turned-State-witness Lourentia Lombaard's testimony that relates to the charges she faces.
The attorney told the court that Smith believes Lombaard was implicating the accused to protect herself and boyfriend, Ayanda Letoni.
Sivnarain told the court Smith insists Lombaard and Letoni were the real masterminds behind Joshlin's disappearance.
