JOHANNESBURG - Residents of the Steve Tshwete local municipality in Mpumalanga have been warned to avoid areas in Middelburg south and Mineralia after heavy rainfall caused flooding.

Mpumalanga disaster department spokesperson Lindiwe Msibi said: "We are again urging our community members to avoid crossing flooded bridges and exercise caution while driving as roads can be dangerous during rainy weather."
