“In music, there are a lot of changes, new genres are created and so on. In gospel, there is a shift in music from traditional to contemporary to deep gospel music of which means there’s growth in gospel music, and this means there is a big impact on the genre in a good way because it will have more reach with its adaptability.”
She tells Eyewitness News that her love for music comes from singing with her siblings at home when she was a child.
“I grew up in family that loved music, my sisters and I used to sing a lot at home, fast forward I became a backing vocalist for a number of years and then in 2018 I started working on my own projects such as my EP which led to winning awards the same year and I continued to win awards even after releasing my first album of which motivated me, so I can say that positive feedback I received and continue to receive motivates me a lot.”’

She tells Eyewitness News that Easter is her favourite time of the year and says that South Africans need to fix their eyes on God as we observe Easter.
“This is actually my favourite of the year, so my message to all South Africans is that a lot has happened this year that affect the whole country but regardless of that we must continue to fix our eyes on God because this world, our country South Africa depends on our prayers and the unity of the body of Christ.”
