Mabuyane says over 100 schools constructed in EC during 6th administration

GQEBERHA - Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane said that more than 100 schools were constructed in the province during the sixth administration amid renewed concerns about poor infrastructure and overcrowding in classrooms.
Mabuyane made the comments while presenting a detailed report to President Cyril Ramaphosa and his Cabinet on Wednesday morning at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha.

The Cabinet’s engagement with the Eastern Cape government is part of a series of attempts aimed at strengthening service delivery.
Mabuyane has assured the president that the provincial government will continue to prioritise the improvement of school infrastructure going forward.
"We are moving ahead with speed in putting more investment of about R7.4 billion to refurbish and build another 138 schools in the next five years."
