JOHANNESBURG - Limpopo police are urging commuters to remain vigilant and not fall victim to roadside crimes.
Major routes are already experiencing heavy traffic, as thousands travel into the province for the Easter Weekend.
Speaking at a media briefing on Friday, Provincial Police Commissioner Thembi Hadebe cautioned that criminal elements may take advantage of the busy period.
She also warned that police will not tolerate any acts of criminality during the easter festivities.
“We will not tolerate any thuggery that is destined for the province of Limpopo. This is the province of peace, and when people come here, they are content that their safety is guaranteed.”
