JOHANNESBURG - A Limpopo couple accused of kidnapping and murdering a pensioner is expected to appear in the Sekhukhune Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Provincial police allege that in March, the suspects hijacked the 72-year-old’s vehicle, kidnapped him, and later killed him.
One of the accused arrested over the Easter weekend is the victim’s daughter.
Limpopo SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, said that investigations into the case were ongoing.
"The provincial commissioner of police in Limpopo, Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe, applauded the provincial investigations unit and provincial tracking team for leaving no stone unturned. Investigations are continuing at this stage."
