CAPE TOWN - Police in Cape Town arrested three suspects for the illegal possession of a firearm and drugs.
Earlier this morning, Muizenberg police searched a property in Gladiola Street, Hillview and arrested a 24-year-old man for possession of a 9mm pistol and 108 rounds of ammunition.
On Easter Sunday, police arrested two suspects in Manenberg for drug possession.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says the suspects will appear in the Muizenberg and Athlone Magistrates’ courts tomorrow, 22 April 2025.
“Members of Public Order Police deployed in Manenberg area arrested two males age 33 and 41 in Tees Road Manenberg, on Sunday, 20 April 2025, when they searched the identified premises and found 65 packets containing crushed mandrax and 16 packets containing crystal meth in the house. The suspects face a charge for the possession of drugs”
