BLOEMFONTEIN - The Free State government has pledged ongoing support to the families of three constables who lost their lives while on duty.
Nearly two weeks ago, police launched a search for Boipelo Senoge, Cebekhulu Linda and Keamogetswe Buys, who vanished while travelling to an operation in Polokwane.
Their bodies and the car they were travelling in were later recovered from the Hennops River in Centurion.

Although foul play has been ruled out, the circumstances surrounding their deaths have sparked widespread speculation.
But at a memorial service held in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola urged the public to respect the investigation and the pain of the families.
"We are all in pain, all of us. Any assistance, do not hesitate — the provincial commissioner is there to help at all times. Let's make sure we work as one family… the SAPS family, and the families of Buys, Senoge and Linda. Where we can help, we will."
