More arrests expected in connection with murder inside Wynberg Magistrate's Court - NPA

CAPE TOWN - More suspects may join the five already linked to the murder that took place inside the Wynberg Magistrate's Court last month.

A 50-year-old taxi operator from Vrygrond was shot and killed by two gunmen inside the corridors of the court building.

Abubaker Adams and Vuyisani Zengethwa have been identified as the alleged shooters.

Shireen Matthews is accused of orchestrating the alleged hit.

The other two suspects, Brian Booysen and Wanay Farao, allegedly organised, supplied, and smuggled the guns into the court building.

"The prosecutor did indicate in court that when we return on May 29, we may be able to add more people on the docket which means that the investigation is still open it's still continuing," said NPA Western Cape spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila.
