JOHANNESBURG - Police say the investigation into the deaths of three constables found in the Hennops River in Centurion is being treated as a top priority.
The officers, who were reported missing in April, were discovered days after their vehicle plunged into the river.

Constable Keamogetswe Buys was the last of the officers to be laid to rest in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Speaking at her funeral, national police commissioner Fannie Masemola said investigators were working to determine how the crash occurred.
"As I said, the investigation is still continuing in terms of accounting for the movement on the road, as well as how the accident has happened. We are still investigating that, and we will be able to tell the families and the rest of the nation what our finding is."
CCTV footage last showed the trio at a fuel station near the Grasmere Toll Plaza, while a tracker linked to the vehicle was last detected near another petrol station in Midrand.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the crash, Deputy Police Minister Polly Boshielo has rejected speculation that foul play was involved, insisting the case was being handled with the seriousness it deserves.
