JOHANNESBURG - The scheduled court appearance for three suspects connected to the disappearance of journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli has been postponed to Thursday.

They face charges of kidnapping, hijacking, and house robbery and were initially expected in the KwaMhlanga Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

The trio were apprehended at their hideout in Rust De Winter in Limpopo on Tuesday, close to where the skeletal remains believed to belong to the missing couple were discovered last week.

The three additional suspects recently arrested in this case will now make their first court appearance tomorrow, instead of today as originally planned.

The total number of suspects who have been arrested in this matter is now eight.

EWN understands that police are continuing their investigations and are looking for more suspects linked to this matter.

It's also understood that the two skeletal remains discovered last week in Rust De Winter in Limpopo are believed to belong to the missing couple, who were shot and killed.

However, DNA testing is still underway to determine if the remains belong to the pair.
