KWAMHLANGA - The State has added murder to the charges faced by four men arrested in connection with the disappearance of journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli.
The suspects made a brief appearance in the KwaMhlanga Magistrates Court on Monday, where the matter was postponed.
Police have been searching for the couple who went missing in February this year.
Officers recently found the bodies of two people in a veld, believed to be those of the couple.

Last week, the state applied to join two newly arrested suspects to the kidnapping case, bringing the total number of accused suspects to four.
In court on Monday, the state had further charges against each of the accused suspects, in addition to counts 1 and 2 of kidnapping.
This was done after new evidence found that Samuel Mogongwe, Lucky Sikhosana, Sello Uoane and Thato Madisha unlawfully and intentionally killed Ndlovu and Mdhluli by shooting them.
It's further alleged that they then took their bodies and dumped them in thick bushes in Rust de Winter in Limpopo.
DNA testing is still underway to determine if the skeletal remains found belong to the pair.
The matter has been postponed to next week for a possible bail application.
