Eastern Cape couple shot and killed at their Lusikisiki home

JOHANNESBURG - A couple in the Eastern Cape have been shot and killed at their home in Lusikisiki.

According to the preliminary police investigations, two unknown suspects attacked the husband and wife on Wednesday night.

A female domestic worker, who was in the house at the time, survived the attack.

Provincial police spokesperson Siphokazi Mawaisa said there was an ongoing investigation into the double murder case.

"Seasoned detectives are up in their heels to track the suspect or suspects responsible for the murder of a couple aged 39 and 41 years that occurred at their home in Dick locality, Lusikisiki on Wednesday, 21/05 at about 19h50."
