JOHANNESBURG - The City of Tshwane said it had fixed most of its infrastructure at the Zwartkop substation, which was damaged by an explosion.

The city said the incident was related to and caused by vandalism.
Technicians have been working since to restore power to the affected areas.
"To this end, the 6 out of 9 single-core 11kV cables have been joined. All multicore cables have been installed, and the team has so far connected 50% of them to the source," said metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.
