EFF dismisses Ramaphosa, Trump engagement as meeting of white privileged men

JOHANNESBURG - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has dismissed the Presidential engagement between Cyril Ramaphosa and Donald Trump as a meeting of white privileged men who dominated the talks.
The party has been critical of the Oval Office meeting in which Ramaphosa took billionaire Johann Rupert, golfers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, and a ministerial delegation.

During the presidential exchange, Trump played videos of EFF leader Julius Malema chanting 'Kill the Boer, kill the farmer'.
The US president used the videos to support his belief of white genocide, asking why Malema had not been arrested.
While Ramaphosa struggled to clarify that South African courts have cleared the chant as not being hate speech, EFF head of international relations, Nqobile Mhlongo said the President failed to defend the courts.
