CAPE TOWN - Three people have died in a bus crash in Tongaat, in KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday morning.
Paramedics say the vehicle plunged from a bridge on the R102.
IPSS medical rescue spokesperson Kelsey Meyrick says about 12 people are being treated at the scene.
“IPSS as well as various other emergency services, are currently at the scene on the R102 at the Tongaat River bridge, where a fully laden bus had gone over the bridge. Reports from the scene so far indicate that three people are deceased and 12 have sustained serious injuries.
