TSHWANE - Late actor Presley Cheweneyagae will be laid to rest at the Zandfontein Cemetery in Pretoria on Saturday.
The award-winning actor died last week due to respiratory failure.
Family, friends and film industry patrons will gather at the Akasia Community Hall to pay their last respects.
Countless tributes have been pouring in for the late actor since the news of his sudden passing broke out.
Many in the film fraternity have hailed Chweneyagae as a powerhouse who gave meaning to all the characters he played.
Mourners who were present at his second memorial service at the State Theatre in Pretoria on Friday fondly shared that he always stole the show with his great talent.
Fellow actress Matshepo Sekgopi said: “He was a great talent, a gentle giant, a gem, and a very gifted human being walking amongst us. He was a true gentleman and a leader. He was a starseed, and he knew exactly how to navigate anything. Whatever he touched, it turned into gold.”
Sekgopi also added that she was privileged to have worked with Chweneyagae.
