Last week, DNA analysis confirmed that the two skeletal remains discovered in Rust de Winter last month belong to the missing couple.

The pair vanished in February this year with a total of eight people arrested and charged for various crimes, including murder, kidnapping and the possession of stolen property.
While the remains were found with gunshot wounds, post-mortem analysis is being conducted to uncover whether or not the couple underwent other physical trauma.
Mdhuli's son, Treasure, said the family has yet to move forward with burial plans due to ongoing tests.
"We are currently waiting for the post-mortems to be concluded. They said they should be done in the coming week, that's when the remains will be released, and we can start preparing for the funeral. So, at this point, we do not have any dates for the funeral or the memorial services."
