Gauteng police investigate 3 counts of murder after discovery of bodies in Tshepisong

JOHANNESBURG - Police in Gauteng are investigating three counts of murder, following the discovery of three bodies in Tshepisong, west of Johannesburg.

It's understood that the three men were attacked and left for dead by an unknown suspect.

Their bodies were found in an open veld in the area on Thursday morning.

Police say a fourth victim managed to survive the attack, but his whereabouts are not known at this stage.

Police spokesperson Tinstwalo Sibeko said, "The motive behind the attack is currently unknown. Police investigations are underway. No arrests have been made yet... Anyone with information that may assist with the investigation may contact Crime Stoppers or report anonymously via the MySaps app."
