JOHANNESBURG - Police in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga, have confirmed another suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder and kidnapping of late journalist Aserie Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli.
The couple went missing in February and their remains were only positively identified in May, following DNA tests.
Their bodies were discovered in a veld in Rust de Winter, Limpopo.
KwaMhlanga police station commander Lindiwe Dlamini told media outside the couple's memorial service, held in Pretoria on Wednesday, that they arrested the suspect last week.
"One more suspect was arrested last week, which makes them now five that have been charged with kidnapping and double murder because the murder is now for two people. Should there be more links or more information coming out linking other people that are not yet arrested, they will definitely be arrested."
