Joburg Water pleads for patience while it restores water to Yeoville, Berea and Hillbrow

JOHANNESBURG - Joburg Water is pleading with residents in Yeoville, Berea and Hillbrow to be patient as the water pressure in their taps will gradually increase to normal capacity after being closed for more than a week.
On Monday, the water utility confirmed its commitment to finalise the touch-ups on the Yeoville water pumps.

Residents have been without water since last week Monday due to maintenance work that has now been completed.
"Both Joburg Water and Rand Water technicians were on site at the reservoir in Yeoville, putting in place interventions to ensure water is restored in the area," said Joburg Water spokesperson, Nombuso Tshabalala.
