Fire at Knights Preparatory School contained

JOHANNESBURG - A fire that broke out at the school hall at the Knights Preparatory School in Randburg has been contained.

The blaze ripped through the hall of the school.

It is unclear what caused the fire, but investigations are underway.

The school has informed parents to come and collect their children.

School owner Warren Swaart said no casualties were reported.

“Our security was contacted as soon as we executed the fire drill, and then they came through and they then contacted both private and fire personnel. They must have arrived within five, six minutes, and they contained the fire.”
