JOHANNESBURG - The lawyer representing Tiffany Nicole Meek said there were three conflicting explanations about what Jayden-Lee Meek was wearing on the last day he was seen alive.
Wednesday marked day four of Meek’s bail application in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court.
She’s accused of murdering her 11-year-old son.
His bruised body was discovered at the Fleurhof complex where he and his mother lived, in May.
During Wednesday's heated cross-examination, the State’s witness, Sergeant Nceba Diko, was pressed by Meek’s lawyer, Novel Naidoo.
Naidoo questioned how it was possible for the day shift security guard, Jayden-Lee Meek’s teacher, as well as his mother, to have different accounts as to what he was wearing on the same day.
Naidoo said that in all accounts, Jayden-Lee seemed to have been dressed in different school pants.
The bail hearing will continue on Friday.
