Police in Cape Town are investigating three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder following a shooting incident in Philippi East.

CAPE TOWN - Police in Cape Town are investigating three counts of murder and one of attempted murder following a shooting incident in Philippi East.
During the early hours of Saturday morning two suspects approached a residence in Hankomo Street, claiming to be police officers.  
The suspects stated that they were looking for something and opened fire on the occupants once they gained entry.  
Police Spokesperson Andrè Traut said that he motive for the attack is still under investigation while the suspects remain at large.  
"Two men, aged 19 and 20, as well as a 20-year-old woman, were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel. A fourth victim, a 26-year-old woman, sustained gunshot wounds to her arms and was transported to a medical facility for treatment," said Traut.
