JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Deputy Police Commissioner Fred Kekana has assured the public that all outstanding investigations in the murder case of 11-year-old Jayden Lee Meek will be concluded by the time the trial begins.
Kekana addressed members of the media earlier after Meek’s failed bail application at the Roodepoort Magistrate's Court.

He said they were satisfied with the outcome of Tuesday's proceedings.
Meek will remain in custody for the murder of her 11-year-old son, whose body was discovered a few meters away from her Fleurhof apartment in May.
Kekana said they had a few points that still needed to be finalised.
"As we alluded previously, since Phindi has indicated that there were some little loose ends which need to be tightened up, and those reports that are outstanding will be available when the trial starts. At this stage, with bail being denied? No, we are pleased."
