Police confirm major drug bust at OR Tambo International Airport

JOHANNESBURG - A suspected international drug courier has been nabbed at OR Tambo International Airport – with police seizing a massive haul of cocaine.

The 25-year-old Brazilian national was arrested after arriving from Doha and found to be in possession of 10 kilograms of cocaine worth over R4 million.

Police have confirmed that the suspect has been detained and is now undergoing a medical exam to check for ingested contraband.
