JOHANNESBURG - The five men accused of stealing a transformer worth R7 million are returning to the Atteridgeville Magistrate's Court on Tuesday morning.
One of the men, arrested last year in November, will have his matter joined with the four other suspects.
Previously, only the four suspects have been appearing in court as a collective, without the fifth man appearing.
The transformer in question was stolen last year in November from the Laudium substation, when the first suspect arrested was later released on bail.
In July this year, three more suspects, who are Tshwane municipal workers, were arrested for their involvement in the case.
Then a fifth suspect, known as the buyer, was arrested.
Of the five men, only the potential buyer was denied bail because of a previous conviction.
