A new trend has emerged of people relocating from Cape Town to Johannesburg.
These now make up the third biggest mover’s category behind Joburg and Pretoria to Cape Town.
Cape Town to Joburg moves now make up 25% of all moves coming out of the Western Cape.
Aucamp says many people are moving back to Johannesburg as many companies are returning to work in the office after semigrating while working remotely.
In addition to this, she says people are moving to be closer to their extended families.
