JOHANNESBURG - Residents in parts of Sandton are warned to brace themselves for yet another day of interrupted water supply.
Johannesburg Water said it was conducting maintenance work on a damaged pipeline that started leaking last week.
This damage has impacted the Illovo reservoir and tower, which supplies parts of Sandown, Morningside, Benmore and other nearby areas.
Utility spokesperson Nombuso Shabalala: "Water supply remains slightly opened while the teams continue with the repair work. The line will be fully recharged once the repairs have been completed. There is currently no estimated time for restoration. Johannesburg Water will, however, provide regular updates to customers on this issue."
