JOHANNESBURG - The siblings of the late EWN associate politics editor, Tshidi Madia, said she treated their children like her own.

Madia’s sudden passing has sent shock waves across the country, as many mourners convey their condolences to her family.
Her sister, Reabetjoe Mokoko, said Madia often spoiled her kids with treats and picnics and imparted her wisdom to them.
"Tshidi always said she doesn’t want kids because our kids were her kids, and when we brought our last daughter into the family, she just gravitated towards her to a point where she ended up saying: 'Maybe this route of adoption is something I can do because look at how much light this child brings into the family.'"
