JOHANNESBURG - In KwaZulu-Natal, another scholar transport accident has been reported in Imbali township, Pietermaritzburg, on Friday morning.
It's understood the incident took place along the same road where a crash that claimed the lives of five children was recorded on Thursday.
The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO)’s spokesperson, Sfiso Shangase, said all the children involved in this morning’s crash survived.
He added that they are still waiting for more information as to what caused the accident.
“We want to make sure that all transportations follow the rules of the road, especially scholar transportation because even this morning, we experienced something similar to yesterday’s accident.”
