Stormers hooker Siyabonga ‘Scarra’ Ntubeni will take a final bow against Connacht in the United Rugby Championship at DHL Stadium on Saturday.
The 35-year-old confirmed on Wednesday that his 15-year career with the team will come to an end this weekend.

“I just wanted to play one more at home… I have enjoyed every weekend, I have enjoyed every year, and I’ve enjoyed every season.”
Ntubeni made his 100th appearance for the side in December 2023 and has one cap for the Springboks.
Reflecting on his career, he said it has been amazing growing up and becoming friends with his heroes in rugby.
His journey has not been without its challenges, including an almost career-ending injury, which left many doubting his ability to play again.
However, his determination and the support of his team and medical staff led to a miraculous recovery.
"I think there was a lot of doubt and doctors and everyone saying I wouldn't play, and I sort of accepted it, but I had good support around the medical staff and me at the Stormers, and they said, 'No, man, we can do this thing’.”
The team will also be bidding farewell to long-serving manager Chippie Solomon, who recently passed away.
“He was a father to a lot of us. He was a character. We all loved him, and he loved the Union.”
