JOHANNESBURG -The North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has dismissed an urgent application to stop a Netflix documentary on Thabo Bester and his accomplice, Nandipha Magudamana, from airing.
The pair approached the court on an urgent basis on Thursday to temporarily interdict the release of the documentary.
The saga involving Bester and Magudumana gripped the country in April 2023, when the couple allegedly skipped the country after his brazen escape from the Mangaung Correctional Facility.
The docu-series "Beauty and the Bester" is now set to air on Friday.
