Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala denied bail

Attempted murder-accused Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala has been denied bail by the Alexandra Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Matlala brought his application earlier this month.

The 48-year-old is accused of calling a hit on his socialite girlfriend Tebogo Thobejane.

The court has ruled that he has failed to prove that he is not a flight risk and that he will not interfere with witnesses.
