Hot to very hot weather conditions expected in Cape Town

The South African Weather Service has issued a weather warning for hot to very hot weather conditions in Cape Town on Tuesday 

The warning extends to the entire province and temperatures are expected to reach the low 30s.  

Spokesperson for the City’s Disaster Risk Management Centre, Charlotte Powell, said they will monitor the situation closely.

"Should the forecast hold, it can present significant health and environmental impacts. The City’s Disaster Risk Management Centre advised the public to please take heed of the forecast, and to take the necessary precautions to mitigate any potential impacts," said Powell.
