Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba has urged communities to support children left parentless following a horrific crash in Ga-Sekgopo which claimed the lives of 12 people.

Last week a minibus taxi transporting congregants from a church service collided with two trucks.

All passengers as well as the driver of the vehicle in the accident.

During their mass funeral on Friday, Ramathuba said the tragedy has left several children without parents.

“Let us also remember the strength of community, the ideals of ubuntu, which teach us that it takes a village to raise a child. Through those children, though those children are now deprived of their parents, let's step in as a community and make sure that we nurture and educate them." she said.
