Residents along KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)’s east coast can expect more disruptive winds on Sunday.

This follows a yellow level 4 warning issued by the South African Weather Service on Saturday.

The service says thundershowers can also be expected in parts of KZN, the Eastern Cape, and the Western Cape.

Forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela said these conditions could also impact marine navigation.

"We're expecting partly cloudy conditions to dominate the central part into the eastern areas, with a 30 per cent chance of showers and thundershowers expected over the Northern Cape, the Northwest, the Free State into KwaZulu-Natal and the eastern half of the Eastern Cape. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected over the central and the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal into the afternoon into the extreme eastern parts of the Free State.” Thobela said.
