African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa has pledged that the party's new ten-point plan to revive the economy will be fully implemented.
Ramaphosa unveiled the party's Economic Action Plan on Monday, which is geared toward driving economic growth.
The plan was developed by the ANC's National Executive Committee (NEC) in response to concerns over the current state of the economy.

One of the ANC's top priority interventions is to accelerate the recovery of Transnet’s logistics network, with a specific focus on getting freight rail fully operational.
The party is also exploring ways to rebuild the country’s chrome and manganese industries to boost exports to the international market. Another measure aimed at stimulating economic growth is the expansion of Eskom' transmission capacity.
ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa said these are not mere empty promises.
"We will focus on implementation and delivery. So it's going to be implementation, implementation, implementation. We have identified ten priority interventions to reignite growth in our economy."
Ramaphosa stated that the Government of National Unity will be tasked with rolling out the ANC’s Economic Action Plan.
