Three suspects have been arrested in connection with kidnapping and armed robbery in Bellville, Cape Town.

Preliminary reports suggest that a 23-year-old man was walking along a street when four suspects forced him into their vehicle and drove away.

Members attached to the National Intervention Unit pursued the suspects.

The suspects then abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot.

Police spokesperson Amanda van Wyk says three suspects have been nabbed, while one is still on the run.
