The death toll from a bus crash on the N1 highway in Limpopo has risen to 40.
It's believed that the bus overturned and landed on the side of the road on Sunday evening.
Emergency services are currently at the scene searching for more victims.
The road between Makhado and Musina has been closed off to traffic and motorists are urged to use alternative routes on Monday morning.
Traffic has been closed off on the N1 highway in Limpopo, least 33 people have died in a bus crash. Emergency services are still on the scene confirming injuries and fatalities.
