Six candidates are appearing before the panel in a bid for the country’s top prosecutor post, ahead of Advocate Shamila Batohi’s term coming to an end next month.

As she started her interview, Johnson told the panel that she received a letter yesterday informing her that one of the complaints lodged against her had been escalated.

"I’m not sure what was sent to them, I just received a letter that said we have received a complaint, we will not be looking into it, it has been escalated to the Office of the Minister."
