After winning its first ever by-election, ActionSA said that more is to come as the party ramps up its election campaign.
ActionSA caused a major upset at the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality in the North West, winning Ward 7’s by-election by just two votes.
One of the contributing factors to ActionSA’s win in the region is its merger earlier in 2025 with the Forum 4 Service Delivery Party, which already had a footprint in the area.
ActionSA’s national chairperson Micheal Beaumont said that other by-election results from across the country show the party is on an upward trajectory.
“ActionSA acknowledges that these strong results are purely a tribute to the people of South Africa who are increasingly realising that they cannot continue voting for failed political parties and expect new outcomes.”
