South Africa now has two overnight millionaires following historic wins from Tuesday’s PowerBall and PowerBall PLUS draws.
National Lottery operator Ithuba revealed that a record-breaking PowerBall jackpot of over R163 million was claimed by a participant who manually selected a R30 wager on their Nedbank banking app.
In the PowerBall PLUS draw, an FNB participant secured a R31 million jackpot after spending R150 on QuickPick selections.
"Warmest congratulations to both winners. We look forward to guiding them through their winning journey. We urge all players to check their tickets as there are countless more winners across divisions," said Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza.
