702 Walk the Talk returns with Jozi My Jozi

The iconic 702 Walk the Talk returns to the City of Johannesburg for its 2026 edition on 26 July, reimagined as 702 Jozi My Jozi Walk the Talk.

The annual event celebrates community spirit and resilience, while reclaiming the streets of Johannesburg, one step at a time.

Supported by the City of Johannesburg and non-profit Jozi My Jozi, the route begins and ends at the historic Ellis Park.

Jozi My Jozi has been working hard to clean up the area, reclaiming the city and restoring it to its former glory.

“We’re going to the iconic Joburg CBD, the home of dream creators and operators, where we dominate, and history is made,” said Primedia Broadcasting Head of Events Keitumetse Madisha.

Participants can choose between the 5 km Victoria Yards route, the 8 km 44 Main Street route and the 15 km Mandela Bridge route.

Park-and-ride, Gautrain and Prasa options are available.
